We are a local group working with Quilts for Kids a non-profit organization whose mission is to transform unwanted and discontinued fabric into quilts that comfort children in need. Our quilts are distributed to local hospitals and shelters.
We meet at 10:00AM on the first Saturday of each month at the Community Presbyterian Church of the Sand Hills in Kendall Park, New Jersey. All levels of quilters and sewers are welcome to join us. Just bring your sewing machine, we provide the materials for you. If you've never quilted before, don't worry we'll show you how!
Beginning in June we will also meet at 10:00 AM on the third Saturday of each month at the South Brunswick Community Center in Woodlot Park, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. We are kicking off this meeting on June 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Park Room of the Community Center. Please bring your sewing machine and join us! For more information please e-mail us.
